Working notes. Faster tools can shorten a task while expanding the number of tasks that feel possible. The saved time does not automatically become rest; it can become more tabs, more experiments, and a stronger sense that we should already understand what changed yesterday.
That may make sleep and recovery more important, not less. Rest protects the attention needed to judge, connect, and question—the parts of work that speed alone cannot improve. In the AI era, stopping may need to become as deliberate a practice as keeping up.
